Postmaster's PodcastShort Story Contest

SUBMISSIONS OPEN: 1 January to midnight 14 February 2015

The winner will receive a cash prize of $100 and will be invited to appear as our guest on the April 2015 episode of The Postmasters Podcast, where he/she will read the winning story and talk writing with Lacy and Audrey.

The work you send must not have been published anywhere in the past. (This includes appearances on personal blogs, etc.)

One entry per person.

Submissions must be sent to us via email. Please make the subject line of the email FICTION PODCAST CONTEST. The manuscript must be attached (either .docx or .pdf). If your story appears in the body of the email, it will not be considered. What should be included in the body of your email is your contact information (FULL NAME/SUBMISSION TITLE/WORD COUNT).

Your name and contact info should NOT appear anywhere on the submitted manuscript itself. We will be judging these entries blind, so if we see your name on the manuscript, your submission will be disqualified.

    • Hi Ray. We do need to be strict on the max word count for this contest, especially as the prize includes the opportunity to read the winning story as part of our April episode. You understand. But I hope find a place for your piece soon! And that if you have something meeting our length requirements, you’ll send it our way.
